Doesnt like divs?

ive got a strange problem.
my webpage consists of 1 page, which has 4 within,

like this:

= h = (div area 1)

= footer.cfm =
====================

the home.cfm has the <cfinclude> tags to create the above.
in firefox, the calendar works fine, but in IE6 & IE7, the calendar appears about 400px diaganally below right! i cant fathom out why!!

anyone got any ideas?
