Unhappy Dealing with punctuation in titles

I'm calling my header dynamically from a database, and using content that also doubles as the articles title, so consequently it has punctuation. However Boxover doesn't like seem to like HTML characters like '’' so how do I get around this? If my title/header does have a HTML character like this Boxover just doesn't display a header...
You can see what I mean on this test page. Just try rolling over the portfolio thumbnails just below the chocolate coloured banner..

Oooo, just discovered it's only happening under Safari 417.8. Not Firefox or IE6 on Windows. Hmmm. Any suggestions?
