Closing Boxover

I am developing a teaching page where each section of content is displayed with a menu for altering it in Boxover -- double click on the content and Boxover stays and allows selecting one of several options presented as checkboxes. Each checkbox has a onclick reference to a javascript function that changes the displayed content. That part works great.

What I can't figure out how to do is to close the Boxover window on the same click. I am sure it is probably easy, but I need some help.
